Recently KOBA appeared on Press TV “Africa Today” programme to discuss Kenya’s Draft Constitution and claims of interference by foreign governments. No constitution is perfect and it’s also true that all stakeholders including the common citizens will not agree on all things in the proposed constitution.
On the 4th August 2010, Kenyans will vote either YES and NO for the proposed constitution. The key changes proposed by the new constitution released are in the Executive, the Legislature, the Judiciary, the Devolution and Dual Citizenship.

According to the Central Bank of Kenya, remittances to Kenya in August 2011 amounted to nearly US$ 80 million, which was about 53% higher than the same level in August 2010. Read full report here. Tweet
