About Us

Kenya Overseas Business Alliance (KOBA)

KOBA is a business and investment based organization whose primary goal is to create and promote businesses and investment opportunities in Kenya within the Diaspora and to overseas investors. The concept of KOBA is a “brain child” idea of Kenyan business entrepreneurs, based in the UK, who are determined to break barriers that have hindered innovative creation of businesses and investment opportunities in Kenya, for and by its people in the Diaspora. The core principal of KOBA is to provide a platform where ordinary Kenyan businessmen and businesswomen can engage and network with the rest of the world, and establish innovative businesses and explore investment opportunities for themselves.

KOBA’s core services are based on a very simple ethos “to create business and investment opportunities and to promote entrepreneurship to the masses at affordable cost”. We believe that most economically excluded individuals or societies in the world can become more competitive, productive and efficient with access to emerging businesses and investment opportunities and also with the use of Information & Communications Technology (ICT) services, that are effective and affordable. KOBA provides information on businesses and investment opportunities in Kenya to many stakeholders (mainly in the Diaspora) including:- major financial institutions, European Community, African governments, embassies, academic institutions, Non-Governmental Organization (NGOs), professionals and ordinary individuals.
